James Petulla and Brian Kraft are on a mission to CONNECT people to their dream careers, one hard working apprentice at a time. ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

About The Connectors

The Connectors is the exciting new scholarship project of Jimi Petulla and Brian Kraft, co-founders of Recording Radio Film Connection, a school that trains its students for careers in recording, radio, television, and film by placing them as apprentices in real studios and production companies.

Jimi and Brian are on a search for career candidates—people of any age or stripe who have the passion, drive and work ethic to succeed, but need a little help getting there. The person’s dream job could be in any of a number of professions; filmmaking, record producing, interior design, graphic design, culinary arts, or some other profession. Career candidates are invited to apply for The Connectors scholarship through a written or video application (see the “Apply” page) for details.

When Jimi and Brian identify a scholarship candidate, they connect that candidate with a successful professional mentor in his/her chosen career, and pay for six months of private training with that mentor.

WHY PROFESSIONAL MENTORING?

Not everyone can afford college, and Jimi and Brian know from experience that classroom instruction is not always the best way to prepare for a career. Sometimes the difference between success and failure is simply having someone in your corner to show you the ropes. No one makes it without a little help; the most successful people in the world all had mentors. That’s what The Connectors is all about—giving people the chance to succeed through mentoring.
